Not the typical woman...

Just like The House of Bernarda Alba and Hedda Gabler, Lysistrata contains women that are not you're average or traditional type of women.

They carry on strong, powerful roles.

Bernarda, Hedda and Lysistrata are the most alike because they try to control all the people around them.
Some more successful than others...but they still try to manipulate and control the characters with their power-hungry images.

There so many ways to link these three books together referencing the women.

Lysistrata, however, has one big difference.
All the women band together to fight for a cause
rather just one fighting for her own cause like in The House of Bernarda Alba or Hedda Gabler.

true, they are alike in many ways. They were all kinda portrayed negatively though. I mean like i don't think there are a lot of people that like hedda because she was manipulative and adela was just stupid. and Lysistrata used others to get what she wants (like the girl Peace)

Yeah that's true. And also, I think between all those characters, Lysistrata was the most like and was the one that actually achieved her plan with her power and manipulation...

Yea Lysistrata looks out for women all over Greece and not just herself. Lysistrata has two qualities that make her stand out from everyone else like her masculinity helps her gain respect among the men she seems to be the only woman who is not controlled by sex like the other women.

Good point. Even though all the women stand for the same cause, Lysistrata really stands out with what she believes in and never hesitates with her plan unlike the other women.
